I replace with CFL Philips Philips LED bulb?
I can rent an apartment using Philips 24W CFL bulb. For the very light, I replace it with LED bulb, how many watts should I choose for the LED light bulb?
This is not really so simple a series of questions as you think. Much of this depends not only in lumens per watt, but the lighting application. A 24W CFL emits approximately the same total amount of lumens as a 100W incandescent bulb, and both are mostly non-directional (the light is emitted in almost all directions). An 8W LED bulb emits about the same lumens as incandescent 45W total, but more directional so it acts more like a 60W incandescent. All that being said, in most home lighting applications must provide a 10W LED near the same illumination total of 24W CFL will last about 4 times longer (about 22 years for a LED and about five years for a CFL, from 6 hours burn time per day.)
