WInchester Supreme Elite XP3 ammunition?
Winchester says that this bullet is ideal for mixed CXP2/CXP3 hunts, in that the bullet will perform on animals from whitetail to elk or moose. Does anyone have some experience with this ammunition? What caliber and what game animal? I bought some 180 grain for the .300 Win. Mag., and might try it on deer. Hopefully it’ll do it’s job. Thanks.
From my understanding its suppose to better at expansion than the older fail safe stuff which it likely is to replace. Read the article. I use handloads or Remington or Federal now days. I have used plenty of the Win White box stuff with good results.Cxp2 is suppose to be better for deer.
