Camo Colors

Why hunters use camouflage to disguise themselves and then a bright orange hat or vest?

Obviously, I am a novice hunter, but have never understood. I know the orange is to avoid being shot by fellow hunters. I guess most are color blind game but if so, why color patterns in the art camo wear? Just curious.

Orange is mandated by law. Lines break her pattern camouflage, isn't about color as much as not having a solid color that stands out.
